Oops, she's doing a reality show again...
Rumor has it that Britney Spears is playing around with the idea of starring in her own reality show—this would make it a lot easier on the millions who search the internet and magazines daily to find out what’s going on in the pop stars train-wreck-of-a-life. Gamson says reality shows are most successful when they allow us to work out our own fantasies and identification through a show’s central figures – and who is a better figure than Britney Spears? Now I know, Britney has already had a reality show with ex K-fed and it failed...miserably, but I am wondering if the second time’s a charm? Do you think the fact that the last reality show focused on Britney and K-fed (who at the time everyone in America hated) had anything to do with its failure? Now that Britney’s approval rating is slowly but surely going up I wonder if this could help the star. At the same time, I don’t know if documenting her life right now is a smart choice, considering she is struggling with bi-polar disorder and addiction. Maybe it’s better if Ms. Spears focused a little more on getting better rather than being in the public eye again.

Worst idea ever. Reality TV shows are about drama, that's how they get good ratings. That's the least Britney needs in her life right now. I feel like celebrities do reality TV shows when they feel like they need to gain some attention to reinvigorate their career (Posh Spice: Coming to America, Rock of Love) but Britney already has got tons of attention on her.
I agree that for Britney's health and mental state of mind, starting a reality show is not a good idea. The public seems to enjoy watching her fall apart and a reality show would only exploit her. In order to achieve high ratings, a show would feed on the public's perception of her. It might make for good ratings and make the network money, but Britney will suffer in the process. I think Britney and her people should work on getting her personal life straight first.
Im going to agree with the previous two comments. I don't think Britney could think of a worse idea. Shes finally getting the public to calm down and stop obsessing over her every move, why would she want to go right back tot he way things were? If she does this, say goodbye to Britney's career.
